About Us

Express Central, originally known as Wadena Builders Supply, started as a wholesale distributor of building materials for lumber yards in 1958. 

As time went by, it progressed into a plumbing and heating supplier, and in 2002, Wadena Builders Supply was renamed Express Central. Express Central’s original location on Highway 10 was completely destroyed by a tornado in 2010. We reopened at our current location in southeast Wadena that same year.

Currently, Express Central Wholesale Plumbing and Heating serves over 300 contractors in central and northern Minnesota. For over 50 years, industry professionals have looked to Express Central for quality products, expert advice, great value, and on-time delivery.
